Buses

There is a No. 10 bus service which runs between Coral Bay and Paphos every 20 minutes between 9 am and 6 pm.  Some of these buses (No. 10A) also go up to Peyia Village.  The No. 15 bus operates on the same route until 11 pm in the summer.  There is also a No. 7 into Paphos which passes by some interesting villages.  The cost of a single journey is €1.20.

No. 7, Paphos – Chlorakas – Kissonerga – Peyia, €0.60 or €0.70 from Peyia (route: Karavella parking, Market, Chlorakas, Lemba, Kissonerga, Peyia); time-table from Peyia 7 am, 9 am, 11.30 am; from Paphos 8.30 am, 11 am, 1.45 pm; Saturdays, from Peyia: 7 am, 11.45 am; from Paphos, 6.30 am, 11.15 am; trip distance 15 km; running time 30 minutes

No. 10, Market to/from Coral Bay, €0.70 (route: Market, Nicolaidi Mylona, Apostolou Pavlou Ave, Agapinoras, Ikarou, Iasonas, Poseidonos Ave, Tombs of the Kings Road, Coral Bay Road (hotels in Chlorakas and Kissonerga), Coral Bay); time-table, from Market, 6.30 am, 7.30 am, 8 am, 8.20 am - 6 pm every 20 minutes; from Coral Bay, 7 am, 8 - 6 pm, every 20 minutes; trip distance 20 km, running time 45 minutes

No. 10a, Coral Bay to/from St George, €0.70 (route extension of no. 10 route from Coral Bay to St George Akamas area and Peyia Village); time-table from Coral Bay 9.30 am, 10.20 am, 11.20 am, 3 pm, 4 pm, 5 pm; from St George 10 am, 10.50 am, 11.50 am, 3.30 pm, 4.30 pm, 5.30; trip distance 8 km, running time 15 - 20 minutes

No. 15, Kato Paphos to/from Coral Bay, €0.70 (route CTO Plaza, Poseidonos, Apostolou Pavlou, Tombs of the Kings, Coral Bay Road (hotels of Chlorakas and Kissonerga, Coral Bay); summer time-table 8 am - 7 pm every 15-20 minutes; winter time-table 8 am – 6 pm every 20 minutes; Sundays/holiday summer time-table 8 am - 7 pm every 15 minutes; winter time-table 8 am – 6 pm every 20 minutes; night bus service every night including Sundays and holidays (May - Oct) Summer 7 pm - 11 pm every 20 minutes; trip distance 17 km, running time 45 minutes

Apart from this unfortunately public transport does not service the outlying villages and people wishing to explore further afield are well advised to hire a car. Please beware that you will need a 4x4 when visiting the Troodos mountains in the winter after heavy snowfall.
